Secondary correction after mastectomy
If you have received a referral letter to correct a previous mastectomy, you can contact us to schedule a preliminary consultation with one of our surgeons following a health screening. Even if you have had a mastectomy at Gender Clinic, you will need to attend a preliminary consultation with the surgeon to find out exactly what you need. Depending on the type of correction required, you will receive local anaesthetic (at the outpatient clinic) or general anaesthetic (in the operating room). In some cases, we may need to submit an authorisation request to your health insurer.
